Job summary

PGL Travel, Ltd. in Hindhead invites you to join as Retail Team Leader. You will oversee our on-site retail and bar areas, ensuring friendly service for young guests, families and visitors. Your team will keep displays fresh and appealing, while maximizing profitability through stock control and incentives.

We value strong retail background, leadership, creativity and a focus on guest experience. 3+ months in retail/bar is desired; management training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ months experience within a retail and/or bar role.
• Experience supervising a team is a bonus, but not essential for this position as management training will be given.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to assist and engage with guests.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to meet targets and deliver guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site retail and bar areas, providing a friendly and welcoming service to our guests.
• Ensure areas are stocked, organized and visually appealing, with creative displays.
• Maximize productivity and profitability through stock management, incentives and cash handling.
• Share marketing ideas to enhance retail environments and oversee entertainment during guests’ stay.

• Earn £29,888.31 (live off rate) per annum (our pay system is benchmarked and fair)

Make a difference as a Retail Team Leader

You’ll oversee our on-site retail and bar areas, providing a friendly and welcoming service to our young guests, families and other visitors. You’ll ensure your team keeps these areas stocked, organised and visually appealing, encouraging creativity with shop & bar displays to keep them fresh and fun.

You’ll maximise productivity and profitability through effective stock management, spending incentives and cash handling. You’ll share your marketing ideas to enhance our retail environments and oversee a fun programme of entertainment for our guests using our bar areas during their stay.

Is this you?

You’ll need great interpersonal skills to assist and engage with our guests, leadership ability to inspire and lead your team, and confidence and problem-solving talent to resolve any issues that stand in the way of achieving your targets through delivering excellent guest experiences.
