Job summary

Deichmann SE in Cwmbran is seeking a Retail Supervisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) with an immediate start. You will lead the store team in the manager's absence, open/close duties including cashing up, and maintain high levels of customer service and product knowledge.

The role includes assisting management to hit sales targets and manage stock while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, ideally supervisory roles.
• Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and product knowledge.
• Cash handling and banking experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage stock and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Open & close the store, including cashing up and associated admin duties.
• Provide excellent customer service and strong product knowledge.
• Promote complementary products with each sale.
• Help achieve store sales targets and KPIs; support team as needed.
• Ensure proper stock merchandising and refreshed displays.
• Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints.
