Retail Supervisor - Part Time, 24 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Stamfordham Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a permanent part-time position, offering a variety of shifts with a minimum of 24 hours work each week, including some weekends.

Pay & Benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.11 with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week, equating to at least £314 weekly. Overtime may be available for additional earnings.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management team in leading the shop to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service
• Manage the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customer care, quick processing of deliveries, and maintenance of shop routines for safety and cleanliness
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop retail assistants
• Control operational costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll
