Job description

We are seeking a new retail supervisor for our shop on Greenwood Avenue, Hull. This permanent full-time position offers 39 hours per week, with shifts scheduled 5 days out of 7.

Please note that full-time roles generally require flexibility in your availability, including weekends.

The hourly pay rate is £12.50, guaranteeing a minimum of 39 hours weekly, equating to at least £487. Overtime opportunities may also be available for additional earnings.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management team in leading the shop to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency
• Manage shop operations in the manager’s absence, including customer service, deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the retail team
• Control operational costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll
