Aramark UK is hiring two Retail Supervisors at RAF Leeming, Northallerton. In this role you will lead a small team behind the post office counter and store, delivering great service to military personnel, civilian staff and visitors.

The position is permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 including some weekends, with morning and evening shifts. Uniform provided, on-site parking, and opportunities to develop within the company.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service and leading a team.
• Retail or supervisory experience is a bonus; leadership matters most.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to pass security vetting/DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team when the Manager is away and manage the post office counter and store.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and manage deliveries.
• Develop and support your team of retail assistants to deliver excellent service.
• Keep the shop safe, clean, and well-stocked; manage costs and reduce waste.

As a Retail Supervisor at RAF Leeming, you'll lead a dedicated team delivering outstanding customer service within one of the RAF's key operational support stations. Combining leadership, customer service, and retail expertise, you'll help create a welcoming experience for military personnel, civilian staff and visitors while contributing to the smooth running of a site that supports RAF operations in the UK and overseas.

What you'll do:

As Retail Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person when the Manager is away, taking charge of the post office counter and the store. You'll help lead the team, keep things running smoothly, and make sure every customer leaves with a smile.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Running shifts and supporting the Manager to deliver an efficient, welcoming shop.
• Opening and closing the store, handling cash, placing orders, and managing deliveries.
• Leading and developing your team of retail assistants.
• Keeping the shop safe, clean, and well-stocked.
• Managing costs and reducing waste.

What we're looking for:

• You've lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience is a bonus, but your leadership skills and customer focus matter most!
