Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Cleaner for RAF Leeming to maintain a clean, safe environment for military personnel, staff and visitors. You will work Monday to Friday, 30–35 hours per week, with shifts between 0700 and 1700.

This permanent, full-time position offers an hourly rate of £12.71 (over 21s) plus benefits such as uniform, on-site parking, an Employee Benefits app and pension contributions. Training is provided on site and security vetting is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean the pub before opening and maintain standards throughout the day.
• Report hazards and check equipment for safe operation.
• Work alone at times and with the team to cover daily tasks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dispose of rubbish and clean toilet areas.

As a Cleaner at RAF Leeming, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at one of the RAF's key operational support stations. Supporting military personnel, civilian staff, and visitors, you'll be part of a friendly team where your contribution is valued and where your work helps ensure the smooth running of a site at the heart of RAF operations.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll do:

• Cleaning the pub before it opens, ensuring all standards are maintained throughout, and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Reporting hazards and checking over equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management.
• Working alone on occasion and as part of a team, working together to ensure all daily tasks have been covered.
• Sweeping, mopping, hoovering, rubbish disposal, and cleaning toilet areas.

What we're looking for:

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided on site.
