Job summary

CLARK'S in Taunton is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, stock, merchandising, and cash handling, while developing staff and monitoring KPIs to boost revenue. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays and strong leadership to engage the team.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a retail environment, leading a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Passion for retail and a proven track record of delivering excellent results.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate your team.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic MS Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members to maximize performance and engagement.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze sales reports, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
