Job summary

DEBRA International in Swanley is seeking a Store Manager to own store performance, maximise income across physical and digital channels, and lead an inclusive team of staff and volunteers. This full-time, permanent role involves managing 35 hours per week over 5 days, with a salary of £25,480 per annum (£14.00 per hour).

You will recruit and develop a diverse team, drive customer service excellence, and deliver impact for the EB community while modelling the DEBRA values.

Qualifications

• Motivated and enthusiastic with strong customer service and retail administration skills.
• Experience leading a team, coordinating volunteers and paid staff.
• Ability to drive store performance and handle targets.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit, onboard, and manage both paid staff and volunteers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Maximise profits and overall store contribution through sales and loss prevention.
• Utilise visual merchandising to promote commercial success and stock turnover.
