DEBRA UK in Lanark is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving store performance and income through physical and digital channels. You will lead an inclusive team of staff and volunteers, modelling our values and delivering impact for the EB community.

The role is full-time and permanent, 35 hours a week, five days from seven, with a salary of £24,096.80 per annum (£13.24/hour). Recruiting, training, and supporting colleagues are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and retail administration skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience in a charity retail setting is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing management of paid staff and volunteers.
• Assist in maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Support the Store Manager in maximising profits to increase the store's contribution.
• Use visual merchandising to ensure the store is commercially appealing.
• Help generate quality donated goods to meet processing targets and maintain shop density.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required to ensure leadership continuity.
