Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Retail Shift Manager in the United Kingdom to lead store teams, maintain high standards daily, and keep the shop floor running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll motivate your team, delegate tasks, handle operations, and deliver the best customer experience. The role pays £15.45–£15.95 per hour (35 hours weekly) with enhanced bank holiday rates, generous holiday (30–35 days pro rata), 10% staff discount, pension and family leave, plus opportunities to progress.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
• Give our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store
