Job summary

Lidl GB in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Retail Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store, motivate the team, and ensure smooth shop-floor operations across AM/PM shifts including weekends.

You’ll receive a competitive hourly rate and a 35-hour contract, with 30–35 days holiday pro rata, plus a 10% in-store discount and enhanced family leave. Bank holiday and night shift uplifts and pension schemes are also included.

• Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and motivate the team.
• Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to stay calm in any situation.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support your team, learning from Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly
