Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team in delivering consistent store performance and an excellent shopping experience. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

Key responsibilities include ensuring great product availability, driving sales initiatives, and delivering on actions set by your line manager while fostering an inclusive, capable team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Clear communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback to improve performance.
• Sets the pace of the team while on shift to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great availability for customers.
• Contribute to sales initiatives in-store (e.g., £1 & save £1).
• Execute actions and tasks assigned by line manager.
• Support and develop store team through engagement and inclusivity.
• Follow cash handling and security policies and processes.
• Lead with customer-centric service and brand standards.
