Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead in the United Kingdom is a store-based role focused on leading the team to deliver a great customer experience across all store areas. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day queries and you’ll foster inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.

You’ll confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence, make balanced, flexible decisions, coach colleagues, and model outstanding service as Tesco supports customers, communities and the planet every day.

Qualifications

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
• Build positive, long lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
