Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Leader in the United Kingdom to join our store team. You will take ownership of running duty shifts, guide colleagues, and ensure a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the store team to deliver a smooth shopping experience for customers.
• Lead and motivate colleagues to deliver daily priorities and manage breaks.
• Open and close the store, ensure duty cover and safety compliance.
• Be the in-store point of contact in the absence of a manager.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and stock levels.
• Support managers in coordinating seasonal and community events.
• Foster an inclusive, positive team atmosphere and deliver great service.
