Job summary

Lidl GB in the United Kingdom is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to lead store operations on shift, motivate the team and ensure high standards on the shop floor. You’ll delegate tasks, resolve issues quickly and maintain a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers.

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate with an extra £2 bank holiday and £3.50 night-shift uplift, plus a benefits package to support well-being and life outside Lidl. With training, you can grow within Lidl’s store network.

• Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
• Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
• Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly
• Provide customers with the best possible experience every time they visit your store
