As a Retail Assistant promoted to shift manager, you will oversee store tasks, drive sales, maintain great product availability, lead a small team, and uphold cash handling and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong product availability for customers.
• Drive sales by promoting in-store offers and initiatives like £1 & save a £1.
• Complete actions set by your line manager after daily floor walks.
• Support Talking Shop Rep and team engagement in your store.
• Help create an inclusive culture where everyone can be their best.
• Lead by example on shift to ensure a great store.
