Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to support store operations and deliver a great customer experience. You will lead the store team, coordinate across departments, and act as the on-site leader in the Manager’s absence.

The role requires strong leadership, a passion for service, and the ability to adapt quickly in a busy retail environment. Minimum age 18 and a track record of delivering excellent customer care are expected.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years of age.
• Experience in a team lead or management role in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
