Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to place customers at the centre of everything we do in-store. You’ll join an inclusive team, enjoy variety and daily challenges, and have opportunities to learn and grow within our stores.

Pay starts at £15.59 per hour and rises to £16.86 in M25 locations, with some sites offering additional payments. We guarantee at least 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
