Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team and deliver consistent results, while building the best possible experience for customers and colleagues across our Leigh store. This role focuses on leadership, excellent availability, and shining in store standards every day.

You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, reflecting the importance we place on proactive leadership, teamwork,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great product availability and driving sales.
• Engage, develop, and retain great people through teamwork and inclusive culture.
• Implement cash handling, security policies, and digital service improvements.
