Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Oxford. You will patrol the store premises, monitor entry and exit points, and respond to incidents to ensure safety for staff and customers.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable work history, and physical fitness. After 12 weeks, permanent transfer with benefits including private medical cover, life insurance, pension, childcare vouchers and other staff perks.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• 5-year checkable work history is required.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit to undertake tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
