Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer for Newcastle Under Lyme. You will deter crime, respond to incidents, and work with local authorities to maintain a safe store environment.

The role requires a valid SIA licence and ability to provide a 5-year checkable history. Full training will be provided, with a 42-hour week and shifts Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat (13:00-22:00) and Sun (10:00-16:00). Hourly rate is £13.45.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• 5-year checkable work or education history.
• Right to work documents and proof of address to be provided.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Respond to incidents and complete incident reports.
• Collaborate with local authorities as applicable.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy and discretion.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches as required.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones and maintain detailed records.
