Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a Widnes site. You will provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, and complete incident reports, collaborating with local authorities as required.

The role requires a valid SIA licence and a 5-year history check. You will work 21 hours per week with shifts Thu/Fri/Sat (15:00–22:00) at an hourly rate of £12.75. Full training is provided and right-to-work documents must be shown.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• Experience in Retail Security is an advantage but not essential; full training provided.
• Applicants must provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history.
• Must bring right to work documents and proof of address.
• Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Patrol shop floor to deter crime and protect customers and staff.
• Identify vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports for clients and authorities.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones.
