Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for M&S in York to help create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

You'll be a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced store, combining customer service with vigilance to protect people, stores and products. You will use store technology and work closely with the team to respond to incidents and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.
