Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a security officer to protect client sites across retail locations in the UK. You will maintain a security presence, respond to incidents, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering high levels of customer service.

The ideal candidate holds a current PSA licence, can work five from seven shifts, and has a clear 5-year work history with references. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a busy security role.
• Strong people and customer service skills.
• Effective communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work with CCTV systems.
• You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
• Current, valid PSA Licence.
• Must be able to provide clear and complete 5-year work history including references.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a security presence at our client sites, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and members of the public.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain PSA standards in relation to code of conduct.
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans. To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
• To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear the correct uniform.
