Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect our customer's property and assets on client sites in the UK. The role requires strict adherence to Assignment Instructions and compliance with UK laws and industry standards.

You will be responsible for safe, professional service delivery, licence renewals, incident reporting, and proactive hazard management to support contract retention and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• Valid SIA licence essential.
• SC clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and UK law, and with AI instructions.
• Complete tasks on site as defined in Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Maintain incidents notebooks and report hazards promptly.
• Renew front-line licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Report hazards and potential risks to minimise disruption.
• Demonstrate professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
