Job summary

Mitie Group plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect property, people and assets on-site. You will operate strictly under Assignment Instructions, maintain high standards of compliance with UK law and industry guidance, and work to meet KPIs and SLAs for the client.

The role requires a front-line SIA license (Security Guarding or Door Supervision), a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, and commitment to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA front-line license (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) required.
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence required.
• SC Clearance desirable.
• All training/licences must be renewed before expiry.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers' property, people and assets per Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Meet/exceed KPIs/SLAs for the customer through full responsibility and accountability.
• Complete required competency training and ongoing self-development.
• Comply with policies, legal/regulatory requirements, and UK law as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Obtain/renew front-line licences and maintain required qualifications.
• Follow Instructions and procedures with professional conduct and initiative.
• Maintain systematic, methodical work and ensure timely check-ins.
