Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer in the Knowsley area to deter crime, respond to incidents, and complete detailed incident reports. The role requires an SIA licence and involves access control, patrols, and collaboration with the client and local authorities.

Applicants should possess strong communication skills, be able to handle conflicts professionally, and commit to following company policies and procedures. Training will be provided for safeguarding and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Five-year checkable work history or back-to-education history is required.
• Bring right-to-work documents and recent proof of address to interview.
• Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence and respond to incidents in-store.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Carry out guarding duties including access control and site patrols.
• Review CCTV as part of stock loss investigations.
• Maintain adherence to Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies.
• Report daily activities using tablets or phones.
