Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Retail Security Officer for Enfield to deter crime, monitor the shop floor, and respond to incidents. You will complete detailed incident reports and work with local authorities as needed. Full training will be provided, and you must hold a valid SIA licence.

The role involves patrolling, assessing vulnerabilities, and liaising with store management. Hours and shift patterns are varied, and the position is paid at £12.71–£15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Deterrence of criminal activity by patrolling the shop floor and maintaining a visible presence.
• Respond to incidents and complete accurate incident reports.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Conduct searches of colleagues and contractors in line with policy.
• Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily planning.
