Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Bridgwater is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect customers and staff, deter theft and maintain a safe shopping environment. You’ll deliver visible security, provide excellent service and work with store management to reduce loss.

Qualifications

• SIA license required or willingness to complete training (we may support)
• Strong customer service focus and professional demeanor
• Experience in patrolling and maintaining security on shop floors
• Familiarity with CCTV operations and incident response

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carry out regular store patrols
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Work closely with store management teams
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Utilise Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety onsite
