Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Bath to protect staff and customers while ensuring a safe shopping environment. You’ll be on the shop floor providing a calm, confident presence and delivering excellent service, with regular patrols and CCTV operation to minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence or willingness to complete training.
• Full 5-year checkable employment or education history.
• Proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety onsite.
