Job summary

Staffline in Wakefield is hiring a Retail Security Officer. Applicants must hold an SIA licence and be at least 18 years old.

You will provide visible security, deter trouble, follow loss prevention policies, and report incidents using our reporting systems. You will wear a full uniform with SIA badge on display.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff.
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site.
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible.
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified.
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Assisting with staff and contractor searches if required by the Client.
• Ensuring that the Security base is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
• Conducting yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the Company, with a full uniform worn and SIA licence displayed.

Position: Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour

Your Time at Work
