Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Birkenhead (CH41). You will patrol the store, monitor entry points and assist staff and customers with security.

The role pays £13.10 per hour and requires full flexibility in shifts. After 12 weeks, the position transfers to the client on a permanent basis with benefits including SIA license renewal, cycle to work, salary sacrifice options, private medical cover and more.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence is required.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• Security experience is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating crime-prevention devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Birkenhead CH41

Shift Timings – Must be fully flexible as per clients requirements

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.


• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.


• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.


• 5-year checkable work/career history.


• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage


• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.


• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
