Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a busy retail store in Poole. The role is full-time with 50 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00-20:00, ensuring safety for staff and customers and protecting stock throughout the shift.

The ideal candidate holds an SIA license, has a 5-year checkable work history, and can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A prior security role experience is advantageous, with a physical fitness to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations while managing large crowds.

About the role

Title - Retail security officer

Pay Rate - £13.96

Location - Poole

Shift Timings - Full time, 50 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday ,11:00-20:00

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
