Job summary

BardWood is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect staff and customers at a busy Rhyl store. You will patrol the premises, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents, maintaining a secure shopping environment while supporting a positive customer experience.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year career history, and the ability to work under pressure. This is a site-based position in Rhyl with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required for security work.
• A 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – £13.10

Location – Rhyl LL18

Shift Timings – Friday 13:00–22:00.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:
