BardWood Support Services seeks a Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Merthyr Tydfil. You will provide safety and security to staff and visitors, patrol premises, and monitor entry/exit points. The role requires SIA Licence, a 5-year work history, and the ability to work under pressure.

Roles are flexible per client requirements, with a permanent transfer after 12 weeks and a range of benefits upon transfer.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence is required for the role.
• Five-year checkable work history is expected.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Investigating Disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 12.71

Location – Merthyr Tydfil SA15

Shift Timings – Must be flexible as per client's requirements.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
