Job summary

Kingdom Group is hiring a Retail Security Officer for Tesco Claypath Express in Durham. You will patrol the store, deter theft, monitor incidents, and provide excellent customer service while safeguarding customers and assets.

This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with a 15:00-23:00 shift pattern (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun). A valid SIA licence and a full five-year work history are required; prior security experience is welcome but not essential. On-site with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store.
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain records of incidents; monitor CCTV systems where authorised.
• Support store management and colleagues as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.
• Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets.
