Job summary

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking proactive Retail Security Officers for our Harrogate store. This permanent role offers 42 hours per week with a two-weekly pattern and shifts from Tue-Sun across afternoons and evenings.

You will provide a visible security presence, deter wrongdoing, monitor premises, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting store colleagues and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence required.
• Own transport required.
• Experience in security is desirable but not essential.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible approach to working shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the store to ensure safety of customers and colleagues.
• Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitoring the premises and responding to incidents.
• Completing accurate reports and recording observations.
• Supporting colleagues with store security requirements.
• Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Location: Tesco, Harrogate, HG1 3DW

Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour

Contract: 42 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: Monday to Saturday

Requirements: Valid SIA Licence and Own Transport

About The Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for confident, professional, and reliable Retail Security Officers to support our Tesco store in Harrogate.

This is a permanent core role offering 42 hours per week, providing a visible security presence to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Shift Pattern

• Tuesday - Sunday: 14:00 - 22:00
• Thursday - Friday: 13:00 - 22:00
• Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00

Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
