Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer to safeguard a well-known retail store in Llantrisant. You will patrol premises, monitor entry and exit points, and respond to incidents with theft-detecting devices.

The role requires flexibility in shifts per client requirements and a strong customer-facing presence. Ideal candidates hold an SIA license, a 5-year work history, and can handle pressure while remaining physically fit.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.
• 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:
