Job summary

TSS in Irvine is seeking a Retail Security Officer to help protect the site and maintain safety for staff and visitors. The role includes a fixed shift pattern, a uniform, and a strong emphasis on professionalism.

You must hold an SIA licence and be able to operate in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while using digital devices for admin tasks. This position offers progression opportunities within a large international security company.

Qualifications

• Must have an SIA licence.
• Great communication and customer service skills are essential.
• A confident communicator who can work as part of a team and provide friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and an SIA licence is clearly displayed

TSS are looking for a Retail Security Officer in Irvine, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Position: Retail Security Officer
Location: Irvine
Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour
Hours: Wednesdays 12:15-20:15 Thursdays 12:15-20:15 Fridays 12:15-20:15 Saturdays 10:15-18:15 and Sundays 09:45-17:45
Contract: Permanent

Your Time at Work
