Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe shopping environment at Asda Great Bridge. You will be responsible for patrolling the store, deterring crime, and using CCTV to support loss prevention.

The role requires mornings, evenings and weekend hours, full uniform, and a commitment to high professional standards. Training and licensing support are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a fast-moving services business
• Comfort with using technology and CCTV systems
• Good attention to detail and high enthusiasm

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV to reduce crime and stock loss
• Liaise with store management and police as required
• Report incidents and crimes using technology
• Wear Body Worn CCTV as needed
• Maintain a visible security contact for customers and colleagues
