Job summary

CYS Security is seeking a Security Officer to create a safe, welcoming environment in our retail stores. You will be a visible, customer-focused presence, delivering great service while protecting people and products. Use store tech and body-worn cameras to manage incidents and support operations. A valid SIA licence and calm, professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

Previous security experience is preferred.
A valid SIA licence.

Responsibilities

Operate in a fast-paced retail environment, staying alert and ready to step in when needed.
Create a welcoming store environment and deliver professional support to customers and colleagues.
Help keep stores safe and secure by preventing loss, responding to incidents and identifying risks.
Support safe ways of working and incident management using store technology and body-worn cameras.
Stay calm under pressure and act professionally in challenging situations.
Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards and a positive environment.
Adapt to changing situations to support the store as needed.
