Job summary

Mitie is seeking Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Experience in delivering customer service is valued; roles include patrolling, using CCTV, liaising with management and police partners to reduce incidents and enhance safety across retail sites.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Be clean, tidy and properly dressed in full uniform.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Report incidents and crime through our technology.
• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to reduce crime in-store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to improve safety.
