Job summary

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Officers will follow site-specific risk assessments, maintain high personal standards, and deter crime through patrols and vigilant use of CCTV systems, including body-worn cameras. You will liaise with store management and police to support crime reduction and promote safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Be clean, tidy and properly dressed in full uniform.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Report incidents and crime through our technology.
• Engage with Police and crime partnerships to reduce crime in store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety.
