Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to safeguard customers and colleagues on the shop floor, delivering excellent service with a calm, professional presence.

You will deter theft, patrol stores, and operate CCTV systems while coordinating with management and local authorities. A paid lunch break and ongoing training accompany a path to professional security progression.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused security professional with a visible presence on the shop floor.
• Willingness to obtain SIA licence if not already held.
• Must have a 5-year checkable employment/education history for vetting.
• Proactive, professional and customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
