Job summary

PUMA UK is seeking a Store Leader in Swindon to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and uphold visual merchandising standards across the floor. You will oversee daily operations, inventory, pricing, and stock availability while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

The role requires strong communication, product knowledge, and the ability to lead a team to meet KPIs and profitability targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve sales, KPIs, and profitability goals.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and engagement on the sales floor.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, pre-sale preparation, pricing, labeling, and stock availability.
• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory counts, ensure product availability and correct sizing.
• Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports and provide insights for performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
• Provide strong product knowledge and sales management, including offering substitutes and related products.
• Support customer service and conflict resolution; demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Manage store stock on the sales floor and ensure sizes and styles are available.
• Proficiency in retail software and POS systems; comply with safety and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate self-leadership, independence and resilience.
