URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. in Cardiff is seeking a store associate to support the store management team in delivering a creative, engaging shopping environment aligned with the VIBE philosophy and the Peers Training Peers program.

You will provide a friendly customer experience, assist in training peers, manage stock and merchandising basics, and uphold health, safety and loss prevention standards while reflecting the URBN brand in the local market.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is not required.
• Awareness of the URBN Urban Outfitters brand and its local appeal.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly customer experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service.
• Enhance the VIBE by focusing on customers and not on projects during prime time selling hours.
• Provide a store experience that reflects the Company’s mystery shop standards.
• Contribute to the overall VIBE in the store by being positive, respectful and helpful to others.
• Uphold Company standards and act as a positive role model to peers.
• Demonstrate proficiency in job knowledge (tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines).
• Assist in the timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers and RTVs).
• Exhibit awareness of loss prevention guidelines and comply with inventory control measures.
