Job summary

Marks & Spencer in London is seeking a commercially astute project professional to lead feasibility, development management and pre-construction across retail spaces, relocations and large-scale development opportunities. You will balance risk, cost and programme to deliver viable schemes.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, negotiate with landlords and developers, and prepare business cases and cost plans to support informed business decisions within approved capital parameters.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction, Property, Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline.
• MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM or equivalent qualification beneficial or working towards.
• Strong technical and commercial capability with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility assessments for new stores, relocations, extensions and development opportunities.
• Manage projects through concept, definition and development stages with milestones.
• Review landlord requirements and AFL technical elements, shell specs and development obligations.
• Coordinate consultant teams to ensure deliverable and commercially robust design information.
• Prepare business cases, budgets, cost plans and risk mitigation strategies.
