Job summary

Marks & Spencer plc in London is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead pre-construction and feasibility activities for retail development projects from site acquisition through to Stage Gate 2 handover.

You will prepare feasibility studies, option appraisals, cost estimates, project programmes, risk assessments and governance reports to secure approvals, coordinating with landlords, developers and internal stakeholders to deliver implementation-ready projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Property, Surveying, Architecture or Engineering required.
• MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM or equivalent qualification beneficial or working towards.
• Strong experience in feasibility, front-end development processes and cost planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial feasibility assessments for new store developments and relocations.
• Manage projects through concept, definition and development stages with robust programmes and deliverables.
• Review landlord/developer requirements and negotiate AFLs, shell specifications and development obligations.
• Coordinate供应 multidisciplinary teams to ensure design information is robust and deliverable.
• Prepare business cases, governance submissions and risk mitigation strategies.
