Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a Construction Programme Manager in Holborn, London, to lead delivery of the capital investment programme across its estate. You will oversee new stores, refurbishments, workplace projects and remediation works, coordinating with Property, Retail and Facilities to translate business needs into deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering retail fit-out, refurbishment and construction programmes.
• Strong project and programme management across full lifecycle, from feasibility to handover.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and influencing decisions at all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, procurement and change control.
• Thorough understanding of construction legislation, regulatory compliance, health and safety.
• Experience leading external consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects across the Metro Bank estate from concept to handover.
• Manage a portfolio including new stores, refurbishments, workplaces and remediation works.
• Partner with Property, Retail, Facilities and stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Own project budgets, programmes, risks and governance to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Drive commercial excellence through procurement, contracts and cost management.
