The Retail Marketing Assistant will support various aspects of the retail marketing department, including general administration and assisting with departmental and tenant marketing campaigns and promotions.

Job Summary:

The Retail Marketing Assistant will support the retail marketing department with administration, digital channels, and tenant engagement to raise brand awareness, footfall, and spend.

The role involves managing databases, schedules, digital screens, posters, and digital channels, as well as liaising with retail tenants and supporting marketing campaigns.

Salary circa £30,000 (DOE)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with retail tenants, encouraging use of local marketing initiatives
  • Assist with events and projects organized by the department
  • Communicate retail activities to the shopping mall and residential populations
  • Coordinate with other departments and manage departmental accounts and budgets
  • Maintain digital and physical displays and ensure they are in excellent condition
  • Update digital channels with current retail and event information
  • Handle inquiries from tenants, the public, and partners
  • Research industry trends and report findings
  • Support general departmental and office duties as needed

What We Require of You:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in an administrative role
  • Interest in retail marketing
  • Experience in retail, events, or entertainment sectors
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team player with a flexible, proactive attitude
